Marine collagen is the protein sourced from the skin of fish. It is an odorless, tasteless, fine white powder that is absorbed 1.5 times more efficiently in the body. Collagen obtained from Marine sources are called type 1 collagen. Type 1 is the main collagen in the human body.

From the age of 25 your body starts to produce less collagen, when this happens it leads to fine lines and wrinkles, joint pain, gut issues and weak muscle. Reiem’s Marine Collagen works to repair the skins collagen and elastin. Human studies have recorded decrease in wrinkles skin firmness and improved skin hydration not to mention healthier hair and nails.

Marine Collagen is full of amino acids particularly Glycine which has promising sleep benefits when consumed before bed.

1 – 3 serves/sachets (3-9 grams) per day is recommended.

We always recommend starting with one serve daily morning or night and then increasing as you feel it’s needed.

Our collagen is sourced from wild caught cod from the cool waters of the Atlantic Sea using Certified Fully Sustainable practices.

Reiem is a Type 1 Hydrolyzed form of collagen.

Yes, a wild caught source is critical.

Fish that are farmed in captivity are more likely to get sick and which is why they are fed antibiotics along with hormones.

Fish farms have devastating effects on the environment as chemicals and waste from fish farms can spread and contaminate their surrounds. This can even affect wildlife.

Reiem is Certified with the Marine Stewardship Council (MSC). MSC is globally recognised and follows 3 core principles:

Sustainable fish stocks

Are enough fish left in the ocean? Fishing must be at a level that ensures it can continue indefinitely and the fish population can remain productive and healthy.

Minimising environmental impact

What are the impacts? Fishing activity must be managed carefully so that other species and habitats within the ecosystem remain healthy.

Effective fisheries management

Are operations well managed? MSC certified fisheries must comply with relevant laws and be able to adapt to changing environmental circumstances.

We don’t recommend marine collagen consumption if you are pregnant or breast feeding as trials have not been conducted.

If you are taking other prescribed medicines, we recommend speaking with your healthcare provider before introducing anything new.

No. if you are allergic to fish, please do not consume any form of Marine Collagen.
