
What is a Gua Sha tool and how in the heck do you use one?

The Gua Sha practice (loosely translated into 'scraping') was initially performed for heatstroke and releasing toxins within the body and often performed by a coin, spoon or bone.
The beauty benefits of the Gua Sha were discovered by accident. Today the Gua Sha tool is used to manually drain lymphatic fluid that causes puffiness and inflammation. Its believed to release tension, promote blood circulation and even improve fine lines and wrinkles all whilst defining your bone structure.
Ready to give this pretty little too a go?
Step 1 Ensure your face or body is lubricated by a serum or body oil
Step 2 using your tool in a sweeping, upwards motion. Repeat 3-4 times over the same area (see diagram below for the different strokes and sides of the tool
Step 3 Wash your Gua Sha tool gently with warm soapy water
Step 4 Use your Gua Sha tool gently once a day or 2-3 times a week
Step 5 Get on with your day as a glowing goddess
